Who we are

Kubed Media Ltd ("Kubed", "we", "us") is a video production company based in London. Company number 14426422, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We're responsible for the personal data described here. You can contact us about it at hello@kubedmedia.com.

What we collect

  • When you fill in one of our enquiry forms: your name, email address, company website or Instagram handle, what you'd like to make, and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • When you book a call: the details you give our booking tool, Calendly, such as your name, email address and chosen time.
  • When you email or speak to us: whatever you choose to tell us.
  • When you visit our website: technical information such as your device, browser and the pages you visit, collected through cookies.

How we use it, and why we're allowed to

  • To reply to your enquiry, arrange your call and prepare a proposal. We do this because you've asked us to, before any contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
  • To keep business records, for our legitimate interests and to meet legal duties such as accounting.
  • If we use advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel to measure how our adverts perform, we'll only do so with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We won't add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to, and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

We only share it with the services that help us run our business: Squarespace (our website and forms), Google Workspace (our email), Calendly (call booking), Featurable (which shows our Google reviews on our website) and, if you consent to advertising cookies, Meta (ad measurement). Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where your data leaves the UK, it's protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't become a project, we delete your details after 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together, plus up to 6 years for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you, to stop or limit how we use it, or to send it to you in a format you can take elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@kubedmedia.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies so that it works properly and so we can understand how it's used. Before we use any advertising cookies, such as the Meta Pixel, we'll ask for your consent through a cookie banner, and you'll be able to change your choice at any time.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
